New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings had a huge day Sunday. He carried the ball 34 times in the Giants' 30-17 upset win over the Houston Texans.
Rashad Jennings racks up the yardage for fantasy owners, Giants
The Giants running back has offered big production through three games. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jennings had 34 carries in Weeks 1 and 2 combined before his 34 carries Sunday, going for 176 yards (5.2. yards per carry) and a touchdown in the game. He wasn’t a part of the team’s passing game, but had more than enough carries to make up for it. Jennings’ touchdown came on a carry from the 1-yard line late in the second quarter.
Fantasy impact: You don’t love seeing Jennings, with his injury history, carrying the ball quite that many times, but the Giants took an early lead and wanted to (a) run the clock out, and (b) keep the ball out of Eli Manning’s hands. Jennings averaged 5.2 yards on his 34 carries without any carry of more than 18 yards, showing he was regularly gashing the Texans’ defense.
Jennings has 381 yards from scrimmage through three games, with at least 96 total yards in each game. As long as he can carry the load and stay healthy, Jennings is an easy RB2, and he’s earning strong RB1 consideration.
