New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz had his first big game of the season Sunday after two disappointing performances. Cruz went over 100 yards and had a touchdown in the Giants' 30-17 win over the Houston Texans.
Victor Cruz re-establishes himself as fantasy option
The Giants wide receiver went over 100 yards Sunday and scored his first touchdown of the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

After 84 yards through the season's first two games, Cruz went for 107 yards on five receptions Sunday. His touchdown came on a 26-yard completion late in the second quarter, the first score of the game. Rueben Randle, the team's other primary receiver, didn't offer nearly as much, catching five passes for 27 yards.
Fantasy impact: There were worries about Cruz’s fantasy status after his two subpar games to open the season, but his numbers rebounded nicely in Week 3. He needs to show more consistency to work his way back into the total good graces of his fantasy owners, but he should be a fine WR2 or flex play going forward.
Randle, meanwhile, has been really disappointing this season after getting sleeper hype early on. Only a touchdown in Week 2 has kept his numbers from being an abject disaster. He’s not startable right now, and it’s not at all clear he even needs to be owned.
