It was his worst game on the young season, but New York Giants tight end Larry Donnell showed Sunday that he's likely to remain relevant. The tight end caught six balls in the team's 30-17 win over the Houston Texans.
Larry Donnell struggles, but continues to be fantasy relevant
The Giants tight end has come from out of nowhere to offer moderately good numbers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Donnell went for 45 yards on his six catches, bring him to 182 yards in three games. Tight end Daniel Fells stole the touchdown, with a 9-yard score in the fourth quarter.
Fantasy impact: Donnell did lose a fumble in the game, so the tight end only had two fantasy points. In that sense, it was a disappointing performance. But the fact that the team is still regularly looking his way and keeping him involved in the offense means that Donnell will be a relevant tight end, either a low-end TE1 or a high-end TE2, going forward.
Donnell played all 16 games last year and had only three catches, so the fact that he has 18 catches through three this season makes him a real out-of-nowhere contributor.
