Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers struggled Sunday in a surprisingly low-scoring game. The quarterback threw for only 162 yards in the Packers' 19-7 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Aaron Rodgers has quiet day for fantasy owners
The Packers quarterback only threw for 162 yards, his second bad game out of three tries. We break down the fantasy implications.

Rodgers completed 16 of his 27 pass attempts in the game for those 162 yards, with one touchdown. The score came on a 10-yard completion with tight end Andrew Quarless late in the first quarter, and was Green Bay's only score of the game.
Fantasy impact: This is now two bad fantasy games out of three for Rodgers, who put up 10 fantasy points Sunday after nine in the team’s season opener. He sandwiched those around a 27-point outing in Week 2, so he’s not been a waste by any means, but the performance so far has been very disappointing for fantasy owners, who burned a first- or second-round pick on the quarterback.
Fantasy owners don’t have much choice but to continue running Rodgers out there, but if he doesn’t start offering more consistent fantasy performance, it could be a long season.
