After being one of last season's big surprises as a rookie, San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen has struggled to offer much production through three games this season. Allen had his worst game Sunday in the Chargers' 22-10 win over the Buffalo Bills.
Keenan Allen stays quiet; Malcom Floyd, Eddie Royal offer fantasy value
The star San Diego receiver from a year ago hasn’t gotten anything going yet this season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Allen caught only two passes for 17 yards in the game, bringing him to 109 yards through three games. Malcom Floyd offered the yardage in Sunday's game -- 98 yards on two receptions -- while Eddie Royal found the scores, with two touchdowns among his four catches for 42 yards.
Fantasy impact: Allen was drafted in the top 15 or so among wide receivers in fantasy drafts, and has not come close to returning value on that selection. Floyd, meanwhile, has had two productive games out of three weeks, and Royal didn’t do much in the first couple of weeks before his two scores Sunday.
Allen is no longer a must-start, but he’s likely to bounce back to much stronger performance going forward. He’s a flex play until he re-proves himself. Floyd is an interesting candidate for use if he can continue to accumulate yards. Royal, meanwhile, might be a speculative add in some leagues, but overall he’s really hard to trust.
