Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins had a quiet game Sunday. A week after huge production, the receiver couldn't get anything going in the Bills' 22-10 loss to the San Diego Chargers.
Sammy Watkins’ fantasy production falls off big-time for Bills
After a huge Week 2, the rookie receiver offered almost nothing Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Watkins caught two passes for 19 yards in the game. He was targeted eight times, but quarterback EJ Manuel had trouble getting the ball into Watkins' hands. The team's receiving yards mostly went to running back Fred Jackson (with 78 yards) and tight end Scott Chandler (with 74).
Fantasy impact: After going for 117 yards and a touchdown on eight catches in Week 2, this game had to be a huge letdown for Watkins’ fantasy owners. This is more indicative of what Watkins’ season might look like, though, with an inconsistent and occasionally inaccurate quarterback throwing him the ball.
Going forward, Watkins will be hard to trust in fantasy. His ability is off the charts, but if his quarterback can’t get him the ball with regularity, it’ll be hard to use him on a week-to-week basis. He’s a bye-week fill-in until he can offer more consistency.
