Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce played in 47 of the team's 72 offensive snaps against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. That comes out to 65.2 percent of all reps, which is a healthy uptick from the previous game, in which he had 32 snaps, and Week 1, in which he had just 19 snaps.
Travis Kelce gets more playing time; fantasy value rising
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is getting more and more playing time. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kelce had a huge preseason in which he flashed serious big-play ability. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid drew some criticisms when Kelce didn’t get much playing time, especially as he seemed to offer more to the offense than starter Anthony Fasano. Whatever the case, he still only saw four targets in Sunday’s game, but caught three passes for 36 yards and his first touchdown of the season.
Fantasy Impact: Kelce's increasing playing time can only mean he's going to see more targets down the line. He's quickly putting himself in position to be started in fantasy leagues and may be worth it against the New England Patriots in Week 4. Fantasy owners should try and find a place for him in their lineup, as the potential payoff is significant.
