Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker has a wrist strain, and his MRI didn't reveal any structural damage. But his status for Week 4 is still up in the air, enough to the point that folks are talking about Charlie Whitehurst, who would start in Locker's place if he can't play, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean.
Charlie Whitehurst would start if Jake Locker’s injury forces him out of Week 4; neither are strong fantasy plays
Jake Locker has a wrist strain, and his status for Week 4 is up in the air. We break down the fantasy implications.

Locker has played particularly poorly over the past two games. He completed just 17 of 34 passes for 185 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions against the Cincinnati Bengals. Before that, he had a touchdown and two interceptions against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2. His only good game was against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1.
Fantasy Impact: Locker’s fantasy value is already slipping, and this injury will do him no favors. Whitehurst obviously inspires even less confidence at this point, so fantasy owners should be wary. If you’re depending on Locker in your fantasy league (we’re sorry), then you should pick up Whitehurst as a handcuff just in case. But for now, we need to see what Locker does in practice this week.
