DeAngelo Williams practices Wednesday, expected to start Sunday
The Panthers’ veteran running back returned to practice Wednesday and should be good to go against the Ravens in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: With teammates Jonathan Stewart (knee) and Mike Tolbert (leg) both likely out this week, the Panthers' backfield will solely belong to Williams. Although it's been quite a few years since Williams was a hands down feature back, the fact he'll be getting most if not all the touches on the ground this week definitely raises his short-term stock.
Stewart is expected to be out a few more weeks and Tolbert being placed on short-term injured reserve guarantees he’ll be out for the immediate future. That news alone means Williams is a great secondary option to start this week in fantasy leagues.
That said, fantasy owners should bear in mind that Williams’ potential to all of a sudden become a fantasy stud again is limited, so he has more value in deeper leagues.
