Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver (oblique muscle) was a full participant in practice, according to the team's official website. Matthews busted out for eight catches, 59 yards and two touchdowns in Week 3 against Washington.
Jordan Matthews participates in practice despite injury, fantasy value heating up
The Eagles’ rookie receiver practiced on Wednesday despite being listed on the team’s injury report. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Coming into the season, there’s no question that Matthews, a 2014 draftee, possessed a lot of potential. That’s why the Eagles selected him. Though he finally had a breakout performance against Washington, it should be noted that Matthews was not included in any two-receiver sets by coach Chip Kelly in Week 3.
The team still went with Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper, who have more NFL experience and more time playing with Nick Foles at quarterback. One would think that if Matthews continues to play well, he may steal snaps from Cooper as the season progresses. The tough part about that is Cooper just signed a long-term extension for a lot of money in the offseason, so he'll get every benefit in terms of trying to live up to his deal this year.
Fantasy owners should definitely take a flyer on Matthews in deeper leagues, but to say one big game makes him one of the impending surprise stars of this season is a bit of a stretch at this point.
