Jacksonville Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Gerhart had been playing through an ankle injury, but appears to be closer to 100 percent.
Toby Gerhart gets full practice Wednesday, set for fantasy start in Week 4
Toby Gerhart is practicing in full this week and is set for Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gerhart’s first season in Jacksonville has not gone as planned, although the bad ankle didn’t help matters. Through three games, he has plodded his way to 82 rushing yards on 34 carries, averaging a measly 2.4 yards per carry. He added 55 yards on six catches and has yet to find the end zone. He’s still entrenched as the Jaguars’ lead back despite his early struggles.
Fantasy impact: There is hope on the horizon, with Blake Bortles winning the starting job over Chad Henne. Gerhart has a tough Week 4 matchup with the San Diego Chargers, but if Bortles can get the offense moving, Gerhart has a chance to revive his fantasy value. He's still a risky start until he proves he's over his ankle injury and the offensive line opens up some holes, but fantasy owners shouldn't throw in the towel on him yet.
