Things were looking awfully bleak for New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning after his Week 1 loss, where he threw for just 163 yards and a quarterback rating of 53.0 against the Detroit Lions. The Giants had a horrible training camp and their change to offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo's system, but it would appear things are starting to turn around.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 4: Eli Manning
Eli Manning has put up two good games in a row. Should you start him against Washington on Thursday?

Manning has thrown two touchdowns in each of his last two games and put up a sterling 123.2 passer rating against the Houston Texans in a Week 3 win. The Giants are doing well with the West Coast system and they were able to protect Eli even against a Texans D that had success in the first two weeks.
It's usually a bad thing for a quarterback to be on a short week, but this is a great matchup. Washington has already been torched on defense and it won't have cornerback DeAngelo Williams or safety Duke Ihenacho. Still, the short week negates the plus matchup and Manning is more of a mid-level QB2.
