There's a good chance you hadn't heard of New York Giants tight end Larry Donnell before the season started. He had just three receptions in his rookie campaign in 2013 and didn't score any touchdowns. Donnell has already crushed those numbers in 2014, totaling 18 catches, 182 yards and one score in his three 2014 games. He's also done that on just 23 targets, which gives him an elite 78.2 catch percentage. His 12 first downs also rank 12th in the NFL and third among tight ends.

The Giants switching to a West Coast system has really made the tight end a much more valuable position in their offense. Plus, the Giants don’t have a great offensive line, which makes it tougher to get the ball down the field.
In Week 4, they should be able to move the ball against Washington. Safety Duke Ihenacho is out for the season, so they will have to get creative in defending Donnell.
He’s one of their best options in the red zone and probably has about a 60 percent chance of catching a TD. He’s a low-end TE1 with upside.
