Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin said he is 100 percent healthy and is over his knee injury. He missed the last two games for the Bucs and is expected to play in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Should fantasy owners be convinced of Doug Martin saying he’s 100 percent?
Doug Martin said he is 100 percent. We break down the fantasy implications.

Even before the injury issues, he's been awful. He had just 9 yards on nine carries in Week 1 before going down, and he also had just 3.6 yards per carry and one touchdown in 2013. The Bucs have arguably been the worst team in the NFL and were absolutely demolished in Week 3 by the Atlanta Falcons.
If Martin is indeed 100 percent, he’s likely going to be splitting up some of the work with Bobby Rainey. Despite some major fumbling issues, Rainey has put up better numbers than Martin since the middle of the 2013 season. The Steelers haven’t been too stout in stopping the run, so the Bucs could have some success.
Fantasy impact: If you drafted Martin, you’re obviously regretting it right now. It won’t be worth it to trade him now since you’d be selling him at his lowest value, so hopefully an encouraging game on Sunday can help him. He’s a risky RB2 this week and is far from a must-start option.
