New York Jets running back Chris Johnson said he wants more carries and is blaming the lack of work on "game situations." He is expected to start against the Detroit Lions in Week 4.
Chris Johnson not happy with workload while Chris Ivory remains better fantasy play
Chris Johnson wants more carries. We break down the fantasy implications.

He has two more carries on the season than Chris Ivory, but he hasn't really earned them. Johnson has just a 3.5 yards-per-carry average while Ivory is ripping runs off at a 5.8 yards-per-carry clip. Ivory has also been used in the passing game and his five catches have already matched his total from the first three years of his career combined.
This week, it will likely be tough sledding for Johnson and Ivory. The Lions rank second against the run this season and obviously Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley look like the real deal up front.
Fantasy impact: Ivory also gets the goal-line carries, which means it’s going to be tough to keep Johnson on your roster in 10- and 12-team leagues. Ivory is a low-end flex with limited upside this week and should be owned in all leagues.
