Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart went through practice on Friday. He reportedly didn't look great and is still expected miss the Week 4 game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Fantasy owners shouldn’t put much stock into Jonathan Stewart practicing on Friday
Jonathan Stewart practiced on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stewart suffered a knee sprain on Sunday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and it's believed to be a multiple-week injury. What's more, Mike Tolbert is expected to miss two months with a hairline fracture in his leg. DeAngelo Williams will take on as many carries as he can handle, while Darrin Reaves is also expected to get some.
Fantasy impact: It would be a shock to see Stewart in the lineup. Fantasy owners can probably just cut him at this point. Meanwhile, Williams serves as a high-risk, high-reward RB2 against Baltimore. Quarterback Cam Newton isn’t running nearly as much as he has in the past, so there could be some extra goal-line work for Williams. Reaves is a desperation RB3 in 16-team leagues.
