Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams is probable for the Week 4 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Williams is dealing with a thigh injury that kept him out of the team's last two games. Jonathan Stewart, the running back that has played behind him or in front of him off and on for years, got the start in his place.
DeAngelo Williams injury update: RB probable, Jonathan Stewart questionable for fantasy owners
Williams is set to return from his injury on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stewart is listed as questionable for this game with a knee injury. Williams is expected to play and to start, while Stewart’s status is in question at this point. This means that Williams would be the only “healthy” running back outside of Darrin Reaves. Williams carried the ball 14 times for 72 yards in his only game this season. Stewart has 29 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: While Williams and Stewart have traded the starting job multiple times over the years, Williams is simply better at this stage in their careers. He’s simply got more to offer and has done about as much as Stewart with fewer attempts. Fantasy owners of Williams likely have Stewart as a handcuff, but Williams will be ready to go for Week 4 and he should be started.
