Editor’s Update: Per Ian Rapoport, Arian Foster is expected to play
Arian Foster injury report: RB expected to start for fantasy owners, per Ian Rapoport
Arian Foster is questionable for Sunday and will be a game-time decision. We break down the fantasy implications.

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is officially listed as questionable for Week 4. The Texans will be taking on the Buffalo Bills, and Foster is in danger of missing the game due to a hamstring injury. Head coach Bill O'Brien has already stated that Foster will be a game-time decision, and will be worked out a couple hours before Sunday's game. Teams never know how a player is going to do with a hamstring injury until they test it out.
The injury forced Foster out of the Week 3 matchup against the New York Giants, a 30-17 loss. Foster was missed, but his backup, Alfred Blue, performed very well in his absence. Blue put up 78 yards on 13 carries and would have put up a lot more if not for the fact that the Texans gave up on the running game once they were down on the scoreboard.
Fantasy Impact: It’s hard to recommend fantasy owners go with Foster at this point. He’s got a lot more upside than Blue, but fantasy owners won’t know Foster’s status until just before game-time. Whatever the case, they should keep an eye out on Sunday morning, as pertinent reports could surface. For now, they should be looking elsewhere, though it’s worth noting that the Texans have a 1 p.m. ET start time.
Impact Update: A starting Arian Foster is better than a lot of running backs, but given his hamstring history, you should not be shocked if the injury flared up at some point during the game. This is not an issue that will simply disappear. He might get through the game completely healthy, he might not. He has reached the stage in his career where that is something to factor in when making your start/sit decision.
