Fantasy football projections, Week 4: Eagles-49ers featuring Jeremy Maclin, LeSean McCoy and Vernon Davis
We break down the Week 4 matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers.

Philadelphia Eagles
Just call the Philadelphia Eagles the comeback kids. The team finds itself undefeated after three weeks, an impressive stat, especially considered the club has came from behind in each victory. A big reason why is wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, who has risen from the ashes to claim fantasy stardom after missing all of last season with a torn knee ligament. Maclin has touchdowns in all three games to start the season and is the only receiver on the team who has also seen double-digit targets in every game as well. To say the least he'll be leaned on fairly heavily against a 49ers pass defense that gives up the fourth-most points to fantasy receivers this season.
When the Eagles aren't throwing the ball, they'll be looking to running back LeSean McCoy, who has yet to eclipse 79 rushing yards in a game this season. With the Eagles' offensive line struggling last week, McCoy managed just 22 yards rushing on 19 carries. Although he did leave the game temporarily after taking a hit to the head, Shady McCoy will need to better against a run defense that is one of the best in fantasy football this season.
San Francisco 49ers
Colin Kaepernick had a decent fantasy day against the Arizona Cardinals last week, but in reality he just wasn't able to beat the opposing defense in key moments. He sailed a few passes over his receivers that could have changed the outcome of the game, particularly in the second half. It's unlikely Kaepernick will have that problem against the Eagles though, as Philadelphia has been involved in two wildly offensive games in a row and they also give up more fantasy points to quarterbacks than any other team in the league.
A big day for Kaepernick usually means a big one for tight end Vernon Davis. Davis (ankle, knee) did not play in Week 3 against the Cardinals, and although he only has seven catches through two contests, the Eagles offer a favorable matchup that could see the tight end get back into the end zone this week. There's no doubt that Kaepernick will be looking for him, especially in the red zone, where no other pass catcher on the 49ers is more reliable. This Sunday could be filled with touchdowns for Davis.
