Jonathan Stewart injury update: RB questionable for Week 4, fantasy owners
Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart is listed as questionable for Week 4. We break the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Panthers head coach Ron Rivera even noted that Stewart didn't look as good as they hoped, so his odds at suiting up are less than 50 percent. Owners depending on Stewart for production were already in a bad spot. Splitting carries with DeAngelo Williams, Stewart's largest workload came in Week 2 when he ran 15 times; unfortunately, he could only turn those touches into 37 yards, but he did manage to find the end zone once. No one in Carolina's backfield is a strong bet for more than RB2 production and that's when they are healthy, which has been an issue.
If Stewart sits this one out, it will give Williams a marginal boost. Baltimore is an above-average run defense and Williams would likely need a high volume of carries to put up any fantasy-relevant numbers. While 20+ carries isn’t out of the question, Williams is no more than a back-end RB2.
