Bernard Pierce injury update: RB probable, will play for fantasy owners
Baltimore running back Bernard Pierce is listed as probable and will play in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Pierce will make his return but his workload is a concern. The Ravens are likely to use a committee that includes Lorenzo Taliaferro and Justin Forsett. Both have run effectively on limited carries, which gives the Ravens little reason to lean heavily on Pierce as he returns from an injury. Pierce remains a good bet to lead the three-headed rushing attack in carries, but 15 attempts is a likely best-case scenario.
The Panthers run defense is above average and could present a problem for the relatively inexperienced trio. If you have to start a Baltimore back then Pierce is your man, but owners shouldn’t expect more than mid-range flex production. Taliaferro is the higher-upside back over Forsett but both would be lucky to see more than 10 carries.
