Taliaferro is still in position to be productive as Pierce will likely be eased back into action, reported ESPN Insider Chris Mortensen. Justin Forsett will also remain a part of the Ravens backfield rotation.
Fantasy Impact: This is clearly great news for fantasy owners that overbid on Taliaferro in free agency. Worst-case scenario was always Pierce returning and stealing touches, but it now seems like the Baltimore coaching staff is finally catching onto his consistent below-par play.
Even more intriguing is the fact that Taliaferro has been given the nod against the Carolina Panthers, a defense that has yet to limit any opposing starter to five yards per carry. With this news, feel free to give Taliaferro the green light, starting him as an RB2 in almost every 10-team league.
