Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford seemed to prove that Week 3 was a fluke. After throwing zero touchdowns and two interceptions against the Green Bay Packers (but still getting a win), Stafford threw for 293 yards and scored three total touchdowns against the New York Jets on Sunday. One of Stafford's scores was a rushing touchdown. What's even more impressive with Stafford's performance is the fact that stud wide receiver Calvin Johnson was used in a limited capacity. Johnson saw just two targets and was used primarily as a decoy as he nursed an ankle injury.
Matthew Stafford bounces back for fantasy owners in Week 4
Stafford buried fantasy owners with a dismal Week 3 outing. He got it together in Week 4. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Stafford looked sharp, and he managed to put together a strong fantasy performance with Johnson playing roughly half of the offensive snaps. If fantasy owners had any concerns about Stafford’s ability to be a consistent QB1, Sunday’s performance should have extinguished them. While he certainly benefits from Johnson being on the field, Stafford is proving to be a strong option with whatever talent he has on the field.
