Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans will miss "an estimated" two to three weeks with a groin strain, according to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports. Evans, a rookie, suffered the injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. He caught four passes for 65 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game, which the Buccaneers won.
Mike Evans could miss 2 to 3 weeks for fantasy owners
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans could miss two to three weeks with a groin injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Evans is a first-round pick and was already having his best performance of the season on Sunday when he went down with the injury. He has 17 receptions for 203 yards and a touchdown through four games, but it’s worth noting that he hasn’t been paired with the best quarterback in Josh McCown. Mike Glennon took over for McCown against the Steelers and played very well, however.
Fantasy Impact: Evans should benefit from a switch to Glennon at the quarterback position, but he needs to get healthy and back to action first. Fortunately for the Buccaneers, Evans won't have to miss three games if the timetable is correct. The team plays the New Orleans Saints in Week 5 and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6, but then there's a bye week in Week 7. It sounds like Evans will be targeting a return against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8.
