Rob Gronkowski limited in Thursday’s practice, fantasy value not solidified yet
Rob Gronkowski was limited in practice on Thursday afternoon. We break down the fantasy implications.

The plan for Gronkowski is expected to be for him to get fewer snaps than he normally would. The Miami Herald expects the Patriots to use him more in the red zone and less between the 20-yard lines. If he is limited in a big way, newly signed tight end Tim Wright could get some extra targets while the receiving corps could help move the ball through the air for quarterback Tom Brady.
Fantasy impact: If you’re surprised about the lack of information from the Patriots, we’d like to welcome you to your first season of playing fantasy football. Gronk owners will be seeing him on the injury report for the entire season, and should consider the questionable tag as probable, and doubtful as questionable. They have an early game on Sunday, so fantasy owners won’t have to roll the dice with a sub-par guy before making a decision on him. If he’s active, Gronkowski is a must-start tight end even with a lesser role.
