Fantasy Impact: Thomas is behind Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis on the Chiefs' running back depth chart. Given he's a rookie and Charles just came off the best season of his career, he likely won't have much fantasy value all season.
Should anything happen injury wise that would lead to Thomas getting any significant playing time, he’d likely still be competing with a free agent signee for reps.
The Chiefs are playoff contender these days, so to put the ball in a rookie’s hands knowing he needs time to grow would be a stretch at any point during the 2014 season. Fantasy owners can stick to Charles or Davis in the Chiefs backfield going forward.
