Washington tight end Jordan Reed practiced in full on Friday, according to Tarik El-Bashir of CSN Washington. It's the third consecutive day of full participation for Reed, despite being listed as questionable on the injury report for Sunday's season opener against the Houston Texans. Reed is dealing with a sprained thumb, an injury that has always been considered minor.
Jordan Reed practices in full Friday; should start for fantasy owners
Washington tight end Jordan Reed should play on Sunday despite being listed as questionable on the injury report. We break down the fantasy implications.

At this point, it would be a big surprise if Reed were to miss Sunday's game. It's a minor injury and he's the starting tight end. Reed played in nine games as a rookie in 2013, and caught 45 passes for 499 yards and three touchdowns. He's expected to take the next step this season, and if he stays healthy, he could be very effective catching passes from Robert Griffin III.
Fantasy Impact: Reed isn’t the top fantasy tight end option out there, but he’s got a lot of potential as a TE2. Fantasy owners should play him against the Texans, as this injury should have little to no effect on his actual ability on Sunday. The questionable designation is erroneous -- he’ll play, barring any major setbacks between now and kickoff.
