Washington tight end Jordan Reed has been cleared to play on Sunday against the Houston Texans, according to the NFL Network's Albert Breer. The only thing that would keep Reed off the field would be any kind of pre-game setback. Reed has been dealing with a thumb injury and was listed as questionable on the final injury report, but was a full participant in practice. Reed put up huge numbers last season before a concussion in Week 11 ended his season.

Now the primary tight end in Washington, Reed is poised to follow-up his breakout 2013 campaign in an even bigger way. This news is even better considering Houston ranked 18th against opposing tight ends last season, allowing 10.6 FPPG. Feel free to consider Reed a TE1 in any format this week.
