Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick could be on the hot seat, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The recently-acquired Ryan Mallett would take over as the starter should coach Bill O'Brien make a move, but Fitzpatrick will start against Washington on Sunday.
Deep league fantasy: Ryan Fitzpatrick on hot seat, Ryan Mallett could take over
The Texans could make a quarterback change sooner rather than later. We break down the fantasy implications.

It's not much of a surprise to hear the Texans are going to keep their quarterback after last season. They turned the ball over far too often in 2013, and Fitzpatrick has been turnover prone since his Buffalo Bills days. Meanwhile, the team grabbed Mallett off of the Patriots and may want to see what he can do.
Fantasy impact: Unless you're in a two-quarterback league, this news isn't very relevant. Andre Johnson is still going to get his targets and even a rookie quarterback should be able to get him the ball. DeAndre Hopkins shouldn't be affected either. The Texans also have a run-happy O, so the upside of Mallett is only attractive for owners in desperation mode.
