The star running back had 93 all-purpose yards Sunday but never found the end zone despite 34 points for his team. We break down the fantasy implications.

Peterson carried the ball 21 times for 75 yards and added two catches for 18 yards in the game. Second-year wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson was actually the team's leading rusher with 102 yards and a touchdown on three carries, highlighted by a 67-yard score in the third quarter.
Fantasy impact: It was a solid-if-unspectacular performance out of Peterson. Considering what it took to draft Peterson in fantasy and the number of points the team scored, most would consider it something of a disappointment.
The yards-per-carry average of 3.6 was also disappointing for a running back who hasn’t had a season below 4.4 yet in his career, now in its eighth year. It was just one game against what should be a good defense, and Peterson is obviously a must-start in fantasy as long as he’s healthy. But fantasy owners who saw that Minnesota put up 34 points were obviously expecting much more from their superstar.
