Third-year Washington running back Alfred Morris had a successful game Sunday, with 91 yards on 14 carries. The effort came in the team's 17-6 loss to the Houston Texans.
Alfred Morris nears 100 yards Sunday for Washington, fantasy owners
The Washington running back had a touchdown vultured from him Sunday, keeping his fantasy value in check, but he did offer some yards. We break down the fantasy implications.

Morris couldn't find the end zone, though. Washington's lone touchdown came on a 1-yard rush from Darrel Young in the second quarter, after Morris had gained 37 of the team's 45 yards to get to the goal line.
Fantasy impact: The touchdown-vulturing was an occasional problem for Morris a year ago as well, with Young and Roy Helu Jr. scoring touchdowns that fantasy owners wished had gone to Morris. Still, he’s the clear No. 1 running back for Washington, even with Helu gaining 61 total yards Sunday, and someone who carries the ball as well and as often as Morris will get into the end zone eventually.
Morris is a low-end RB1 or high-end RB2 for now -- lower in PPR -- and that could rise if the Washington passing game doesn’t improve.
