There were some questions about Houston Texans running back Arian Foster's health entering the season, after he missed the second half of 2013 with injury. He silenced most of those Sunday, running for 103 yards on 27 carries in the team's 17-6 season-opening win over Washington.
Arian Foster carries the load for Texans, fantasy owners
In his first game after last year’s season-ending injury, the Houston running back topped 100 yards. We break down the fantasy implications.

Foster added two receptions for 17 yards in the game. His 3.8 yards per carry was lower than his career average. On the other side, his backups, Jonathan Grimes and Alfred Blue, combined for 2 rushing yards on two carries.
Fantasy impact: With Ben Tate gone to Cleveland, it looks like Foster is the Texans’ one and only as long as he’s healthy, with Grimes and Blue afterthoughts in the team’s offense. The fact that the team felt comfortable enough in Foster to give him that many carries has to be a good sign.
If Foster can stay healthy, he’ll be a fine RB1 all season long. Grimes and Blue are decent handcuffs, but nothing more.
