Through the first half of play Sunday, quarterback Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles looked bad. They trailed 17-0, and Foles had fumbled twice and been intercepted once. In the second half, though, Foles put it together. He had no more turnovers, threw two touchdown passes and finished the game with 322 passing yards.
Nick Foles’ second half production outweighs his first for Eagles, fantasy owners
The Philadelphia quarterback was pretty terrible in the first half Sunday, but he had a much better second half to somewhat salvage his day. We break down the fantasy implications.

Foles connected on touchdown passes to tight end Zach Ertz and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin in the second half. His first half kept his overall production in check, but Foles ended the game with 14 fantasy points.
Fantasy impact: There was never any chance Foles would repeat his interception-aversion of 2013. He was going to be less lucky this season, and it was a matter of if he and the Eagles would continue to score at the high rate of last year.
If the second half is any indication, they will, and that will help Foles long-term. Still, adding interceptions to his 2013 numbers means he’s not a top-tier quarterback. He slots as a low-end QB1 or high-end QB2 going forward.
