Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin played in his first regular season game since tearing his ACL a season ago, and he looked solid. Maclin ended up playing in 80 of 87 offensive snaps (92 percent), and saw 10 passes thrown his way. Of those 10 passes, he caught just four of them, but he managed 97 yards and a touchdown, leading the Eagles.
Jeremy Maclin has solid fantasy outing, plays most of opener
Jeremy Maclin looked solid and unhampered by last year’s ACL injury against the Jaguars on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Maclin didn't have any egregious drops or anything, and many of the passes that went his direction were off target from Nick Foles, who played a miserable first half of football before settling down. Maclin's 68-yard touchdown reception came late in the fourth quarter. It was a relatively quiet game before then outside of the targets, which are about the right number for a No. 1 receiver.
Fantasy Impact: The Eagles gave Maclin a huge vote of confidence when they released DeSean Jackson, one of the most prolific wide receivers in the league. They were saying then that they felt Maclin could be the team's No. 1 receiver and obviously believed he could stay healthy. He looked plenty healthy against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, so fantasy owners should be pleased. He'll have bigger and better games this season.
