If you’re in the daily fantasy sports (DFS) game, you need as many tools as possible to help set your lineup. Sure, there are some things you’ll disagree with, but not acknowledging stats or information is usually a mistake. FanDuel Daily Fantasy projections: Wide receivers
Some of the big-name receivers have bad matchups others like Demaryius Thomas will look to get their season off the ground. We break down the fantasy projections.

Here are the wide receivers projections for Week 5:
Top tier
We have yet to see Demaryius Thomas really light it up, totaling just 361 yards and one score in his four games. Peyton Manning hasn’t been himself and not getting the ball down the field has hurt DT. He’s seen his price take a little dip to just $8,600 and gets a great matchup against the Oakland Raiders. Of course, Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones comes in at No. 2 because he’s Julio Jones.
Bargains
If you’re looking for a deep buy, Baltimore Ravens receiver Kamar Aiken against the Cleveland Browns could be a good one. Cornerback Joe Haden figures to guard receiver Steve Smith a lot, which should open things up for Aiken. Washington receiver Pierre Garcon against the Falcons should be a nice option because the team will clearly have to score a lot of points and likely play from behind in Atlanta. New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman and San Diego Chargers receiver Keenan Allen are both very nice buys at $7,700.
Elite players with sub-par matchups
Cincinnati Bengals receiver A.J. Green has been on fire, but he will likely see a lot of Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman this week. Steelers receiver Antonio Brown is also a little risky to use this week because quarterback Michael Vick struggled to get him the ball last week. Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson also isn't projected to perform at a high level against the Arizona Cardinals and cornerback Patrick Peterson.
