Here are the fantasy projections for Week 5:
Top tier
The Atlanta Falcons are flying high on offense and quarterback Matt Ryan has seen his numbers climb as the year has gone on. Plus, they get a great matchup against Washington and they’re at home. The other usual suspects are in the top four with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning rounding out the top four.
Bargains
There are not a lot of no-brainer bargains this week. It used to be Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor, but his price has increased to $7,500. San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers isn’t a true bargain, but he ranks fifth for projected points against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is tied for eighth in price, so there is value there. If you really want to go cheap, Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins against the Falcons or Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Michael Vick against the Chargers could be the play. There’s obviously a lot of risk, though.
Elite players with sub-par matchups
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has been good throughout the season, but he has a mad matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Fantasy owners will also probably want to steer clear of New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
