The Indianapolis Colts have their biggest game of the year looming in Week 6 when they square off vs. the New England Patriots, which also marks the date where they will likely have their franchise quarterback under center once again.
Andrew Luck making ‘full throws,’ fantasy status optimistic
All signs point to the Colts getting their starting quarterback back in action on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Andrew Luck practiced on Wednesday and made full throws, something he has not done since preparing for the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4, according to IndyStar's Zak Keefer. It's not a guarantee of his status for Sunday, but all signs point to Luck making a return from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for Matt Hasselbeck in two consecutive games.
Fantasy impact: Luck has never thrown for more than two touchdowns against the Patriots in any given game, but just once has he been held to fewer than 300 yards passing. There’s upside to be had here even in a difficult matchup, but fantasy owners will have to temper their expectations especially with a shoulder injury in Luck’s recent history.
Luck immediately garners QB1 consideration even under circumstances that aren’t ideal. His stable of receivers plus his inherent talent make him a favorable option in leagues of all sizes. Barring anything unexpected, Luck should be penned into starting lineups across the board.
