New Orleans Saints running back C.J. Spiller was a very popular breakout candidate back in August. A lot of people saw him as the 2015 version of Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles, who was an elite fantasy back with the Saints before last season.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 6: C.J. Spiller looking to pick up steam in fantasy
C.J. Spiller isn’t starting off strong, but could that change? We take a look at his fantasy value for Week 6.

Well, due to an injury and the Saints not really utilizing him much, Spiller is only sitting at RB56 in PPR leagues, which has to be devastating to anyone who took him in the top 50. There is good news, though. The Saints get the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday. The Falcons are the worst defense at stopping fantasy running backs, so expect Spiller to get it going. He won't light it up quite as nicely as running back Mark Ingram, but he should be able to flirt with 10 touches.
Fantasy impact: Spiller is more of a FLEX in PPR leagues just because he has been so bad outside of a game-winning TD in Week 4. He should be benched in standards.
