San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde was the story of Week 1. He ran the ball a whopping 26 times against the Minnesota Vikings for 168 yards and two scores. Since then, it's been ugly with just one score and just 51.8 yards per game. Not good.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 6: Carlos Hyde looks to get back to Week 1 ways
Carlos Hyde blew up in Week 1, but he’s fizzled out a bit since. Should fantasy owners trust him this week?
Hyde isn’t really losing carries and the 49ers still can’t pass the ball consistently. As long as their offensive line and move some guys, he should be able to have himself some nice output.
This week, it might be tough for Hyde against the Baltimore Ravens. He is also banged up and is questionable due to a foot injury. He should play, but his fantasy owners will want to make sure he's a go for the 4:25 EDT start in the afternoon.
Fantasy impact: Hyde is more of a flex this week, especially because he has a later game. If you have a backup plan with a late start, then you could think about starting Hyde.
