Everyone likes to make fun of the New York Jets, but running back Chris Ivory has been making a lot of defenses look silly. In just three games, he is still a top-20 back in standard leagues thanks to two terrific performances: Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns and Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins. He did have an injury keep him out of action in Week 3, but the bye last week has him back close to 100 percent.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 6: Chris Ivory getting healthy again
Chris Ivory has been a workhorse for the Jets. Fantasy owners have to use him, right?
Ivory was also hurt in Week 2, so he’s basically batting 1.000 in games without an injury. This week he gets a subpar matchup against Washington. However, the Jets are at home and should be able to score some points. Plus, their defense should really shut down Washington, which would make the Jets turn to more of a kill-the-clock approach with their running game.
Fantasy impact: Even though he’s facing the third-toughest matchup, you have to start Ivory this week. He should have a big game.
