Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is questionable to play against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. He went through full practice on Thursday and is fully expected to play.
Marshawn Lynch injury update: Beast Mode ready to go for fantasy value
Beast Mode should be back on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Lynch has missed the last two games due to calf and hamstring issues, but now he's on track and should see close to a full allotment of carries. Although, running back Thomas Rawls blew up last week with 169 yards on 23 carries, so the pressure certainly isn't on Lynch nearly as much.
Lynch does get a nice matchup this week as the Panthers have struggled to stop running backs. He also gets an early start this week, so his fantasy owners will know going into his game whether or not he’s in.
Fantasy impact: If he’s a go, you have to start him this week. Lynch and the Seahawks need to win games and they probably wouldn’t put him in unless he’s close to 100 percent. Rawls should remain owned and benched as a handcuff.
