New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. traveled with the team for Monday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Odell Beckham Jr. injury update: Giants WR expected to play Monday, fantasy owners wait for official word
Odell Beckham’s outlook is looking positive for Monday night. We take a look at the fantasy implications.
While Beckham’s status has yet to be confirmed, sources have informed NJ Advanced Media that Beckham is expected to play Monday night. Beckham is currently dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 5.
The updated confidence in Beckham’s status shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering he traveled with the team. Barring some sort of pregame setback, Beckham should be ready to roll as the Giants look to capture their fourth straight win of the season.
Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners that kept the faith in Beckham’s ability to suit up are still waiting on official word, but the news continues to be promising.
Beckham will be a must-start wide receiver despite playing at less than 100 percent. Beckham's presence will also help quarterback Eli Manning owners.
Wide receiver Rueben Randle (hamstring) is expected to take the field, as well. Beckham remains a top-tier WR1 as long as he's playing.
