San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is one of the highest paid players in the NFL, but he is also one of the most inconsistent. That is certainly true for fantasy owners.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 7: Colin Kaepernick gets a bad matchup
If you start him, Colin Kaepernick can give you a headache. Is there enough upside to use him this week?

In his last two games, Kaepernick put up at least 21 fantasy points in both games with two touchdowns in each. He is coming off a terrific 340-yard passing game against the Baltimore Ravens, too.
However, he gets a short week this week against the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks have taken care of business against Kaepernick for much of his career.
In two games last year, Kaepernick didn’t score any touchdowns and his entire team had just 10 points combined. Yes, this game is in San Francisco, but it’s not looking good.
Fantasy impact: He’s worth owning with the nice upward trend, but his fantasy owners can’t start him this week. On the bright side, his schedule gets a lot better after this week.
