Just when it looked like New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was out of the woods from his letdowns, he had a big one against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6, passing for 189 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 7: Eli Manning could bounce back
Eli Manning looked bad against the Eagles last week. We break down the fantasy implications.
Eli was on fire before that game with at least 19 fantasy points in each of his previous four games. He has generally been better at home, which is a good sign because the Dallas Cowboys are coming to town.
Yes, Manning was a disaster in Week 1 against the Cowboys. However, that was in Dallas and he’s typically a slow starter. Excluding Victor Cruz, he should have all of his weapons against the Cowboys even though receiver Odell Beckham Jr. didn’t practice this week, but he didn’t practice last week either and played well.
Fantasy impact: He’s not a must-start guy, but he should be viewed as a QB8-10 for most owners.
