Remember when you could start New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees without even thinking about it? He almost had one of the best fantasy seasons three years ago, but now all those attempts are starting to backfire.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 7: Drew Brees looking for big game
Drew Brees may be over his shoulder issue. We break down the fantasy implications.
He threw the ball a ton while at Purdue University and he’ll be in the top three for passing attempts once his career is over -- he will probably pass Dan Marino next season. His shoulder caused him to miss time earlier this season and we’ve yet to see a big game from him all year.
Well, that week might be on Sunday. The Saints travel to face the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. This game is likely going to be one of the highest-scoring games all weekend and Brees gets a 24th-ranked defense against fantasy quarterbacks. They also have a sub-par schedule, too.
Fantasy impact: We could see a big-time Brees game. He’s a top-six QB play.
