Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray looked like he was well on his way to being a top-10 back. Well, it hasn't quite worked out like that recently. Murray is only rushing for 44.5 yards per game in his last two outings while failing to score.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 7: Latavius Murray looks to carry the load
Latavius Murray is off a bye. We break down the fantasy implications.
He is coming off a bye this week and he gets a wonderful matchup against the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers are the third-easiest matchup for fantasy running backs and have given up one score per game.
Their linebackers are also horrible in pass coverage so far this year, so there should be plenty of opportunities in the passing game.
Murray and the Raiders are fairly healthy this week and the only real concern with the third-year back is fumbling. If he holds onto the ball, he should get his 20 touches and put up a big-time fantasy day.
Fantasy impact: He could be a low-end RB1 this week and should be starting everywhere.
