The Arizona Cardinals have lost a little bit of their luster. They have lost two of their last three games after their 4-0 start. It's not all bad news for the Cards because receiver John Brown is starting to heat up.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 7: John Brown gets a good matchup
John Brown was a popular breakout candidate and he might have another big game this week. We break down the fantasy implications.
In his last two games, he saw 18 targets for a total of 14 catches, 269 yards and one score. He's really starting to see his targets trend up and is not just going deep anymore. It seems pretty clear he's passed Michael Floyd and it may not be long before he's the top option over Larry Fitzgerald.
Things get even better this week. The Cardinals get a home game against the Baltimore Ravens, who have been the second-best matchups for fantasy receivers. Plus, when they travel west, the Ravens have been destroyed by teams like the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders.
Fantasy impact: He’s not a must-start guy, but Brown’s upside makes him a very strong WR2.
