Keenan Allen injury update: WR ACTIVE for Chargers, fantasy owners

San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (hip) is listed as questionable for the team’s Week 7 matchup against the Oakland Raiders.
Allen did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday before being upgraded to a limited participant on Friday. Despite the questionable tag, Allen is fully expected to suit up.
Fantasy spin: Allen will find his way onto the field and will be in line for his usual high volume of targets. Allen finished last week’s contest against the Green Bay Packers with 14 receptions for 157 yards on 15 targets.
Averaging 11.8 targets per game, it’s safe to say that Allen will continue to be an integral factor in the team’s game plan. He’s currently on pace to finish the season with 141 receptions for 1,603 yards.
Allen has an unsuspectingly stiff match up against Oakland. Their defense allows the 10th-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Regardless, Allen remains must start WR2, especially in PPR formats.
