Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (concussion) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 7 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Maclin did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday before being upgraded to a limited participant on Friday. While any concussion requires close monitoring, Maclin has passed protocol testing and is tentatively expected to suit up.
Jeremy Maclin injury update: WR questionable for Chiefs, fantasy owners
The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver is listed as questionable for Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Maclin hasn’t had too much trouble adapting to his new team and old coach in Andy Reid. Through six games, Maclin has hauled in 39 passes for 531 yards and one touchdown, topping the 100-yard receiving mark twice. While the scoring could certainly stand to improve, Maclin has been a solid and reliable producer in PPR formats. He shouldn’t have any issues taking on Pittsburgh’s weak secondary. The unit gives up the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Owners should plan on having their WR2 available but should check back in prior to kickoff.
