Buffalo Bills wide receiver Tyrod Taylor (knee) has been ruled out of the team's Week 7 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Taylor was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday before being downgraded to a non-participant Thursday and Friday. E.J. Manuel will make his second start of the season in his place.
Tyrod Taylor injury update: QB out for Bills, fantasy owners
The Buffalo Bills quarterback has been ruled out for Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Manuel’s only start of the season last week looked decent upon first glance. He completed 28 of 42 passes for 263 yards, one touchdown and an interception. He also ran one in for another score. However, much of his production came in garbage time and Manuel couldn’t find a way to efficiently move the ball down the field for most of the afternoon. He’ll have a fantastic matchup ahead of him in the Jaguars. Their defense gives up the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Regardless, Manuel is a bottom-barrel QB2 and is not a recommended fantasy start. Owners in a bye week bind can likely do better on the waiver wire.
